Presales Engineer
Position Overview
We're looking for a client-facing presales engineer with localization expertise, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of how AI is transforming global content workflows. In this role, you'll attend client meetings, discovery sessions, and provide product demos, helping prospects understand how Centific solutions can meet their needs. While solution design and technical implementation are managed together with Solutions teams, this role will strategically work with Sales partners to guide clients through the pre-sales journey and act as the technical bridge between them and our platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Sales Enablement
- Participate or Lead in discovery calls to understand client goals, localization challenges, and content workflows.
- Deliver engaging, customized product demos that highlight AI-powered features and business value.
- Leverage your localization knowledge to quickly identify workflow inefficiencies and position AI solutions that address real industry pain points.
- Translate technical capabilities into client benefits.
- Answer questions around workflows, data handling, and platform capabilities with confidence and clarity.
- Build trusted relationships with business and technical stakeholders across global organizations.
Collaboration & Handoff model
- Partner with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers to shape deal strategy and technical alignment.
- Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation by clearly documenting client expectations.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to provide client insights and support roadmap alignment.
Product & Market Awareness
- Stay up to date on trends in localization, AI, and multilingual content delivery.
- Share market feedback internally to support innovation and competitive positioning.
- Support RFPs and proposals with clear, client-focused technical input.
What You Bring
- 3+ years preferred in presales, consulting, or solutions roles, with localization industry experience highly preferred.
- Localization expertise: Understanding of localization workflows, TMS tools, translation challenges, and global content delivery processes.
- Familiarity with AI concepts such as machine translation, NLP, and workflow automation.
- Excellent communication skills—able to connect with both technical and business audiences.
- Multilingual abilities - fluency in 2+ languages is highly valued for connecting with our global client base.
- Experience working with enterprise clients or global teams.
