StealthWatch is working exclusively with a cutting-edge AI security startup that is hiring their first Presales Engineer on the West Coast.
This is a rare opportunity to join an early-stage vendor with serious momentum. The founding team has successfully built and sold a previous startup, and they’re now doing it again—this time tackling some of the most complex challenges in AI and security.
The Opportunity
As the Founding Presales Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the company’s go-to-market motion. You’ll work directly with Sales, Product, and the Founders, acting as the technical authority in customer conversations while helping define how presales is built from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, influence, and being close to the action.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as the technical lead across the sales cycle, from discovery through close
- Delivering demos, proofs of value, and technical deep dives to security and engineering stakeholders
- Partnering closely with Product to influence roadmap and customer feedback
- Helping design and scale presales best practices as the company grows
- Representing the product with credibility in highly technical, security-focused environments
What They’re Looking For
- Experience as a Presales / Sales Engineer within Cloud Security, DevOps, DevSecOps.
- Strong technical background with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
- Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment with ambiguity and pace
- Self-starter mindset—this is a “build it” role, not a “slot into process” role
- Based anywhere on the West Coast (fully remote within the region)
