Sales Engineer (Customer Success - Portuguese speaking)
Job Description
This role is for a Portuguese-speaking Sales Engineer within Datadog’s Customer Success organization, focused on helping existing customers expand and deepen their use of the platform. The position blends technical consulting, solution engineering, and customer-facing strategy work. The Sales Engineer partners closely with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives to drive product adoption, demonstrate value, and support renewals and expansion opportunities across LATAM accounts.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Running technical demos
- Advising on observability and cloud architecture best practices
- Troubleshooting customer environments
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation in areas like cloud infrastructure, monitoring, DevOps, or application performance management, combined with strong communication and presentation skills in both Portuguese and English. Datadog emphasizes collaboration, hybrid work culture, and cross-functional teamwork, so the role also requires working closely with product, support, and engineering teams to advocate for customer needs and guide technical success plans.
