We’re seeking an experienced Azure Solutions Engineer with deep technical expertise in both data engineering and application development to design, build, and optimize high-performance cloud solutions. This is a hands-on, VP-level opportunity to drive innovation, scalability, and efficiency within a technology-forward financial services environment.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced engineering team focused on building modern, cloud-native systems that power critical business functions in portfolio management, risk, and accounting. The ideal candidate will blend strong architectural vision with practical implementation skills across Microsoft Azure.

Cloud Solution Architecture

• Design and implement secure, scalable solutions across Azure data, storage, analytics, and application services.
• Apply Azure Well-Architected Framework principles to ensure performance, cost optimization, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to develop efficient, resilient cloud environments.

Application Development & Integration

• Build and maintain cloud-native applications using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, and related services.
• Develop APIs, microservices, and serverless solutions aligned with best practices.
• Integrate applications with Azure-based data ecosystems (Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, Azure SQL).

Data Engineering & Analytics

• Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Stream Analytics.
• Develop robust data models, warehouses, and lakes supporting BI and analytics initiatives.
• Ensure high standards for data quality, governance, and lineage.
