Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Sales for Hyperscaler Accounts to lead business success in the Physical Layer Interconnect and Testing Sector for AI Networking. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing critical Hyperscaler accounts/customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strategic partnerships.

The Senior Director of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and positioning the company for success in a competitive landscape. The Senior Director of Sales will work closely under the S.V.P. of Sales to execute business strategies and achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Account Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing Hyperscaler account contacts, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any concerns or issues. Take ownership of full sales process with key customers, including securing purchase orders, forecasting, and liaising with the MultiLane operations team to ensure timely delivery of customer commitments.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients in coordination with the other Business Units of MultiLane Inc.

2. Team Management & Development:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Sales Team members and Field Application Engineers, ensuring alignment with sales strategies, performance goals, and professional development.
  • Act as a liaison between field teams and senior management to ensure alignment on company goals.

3. Identifying and Closing Opportunities:

  • Research and analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth and expansion.
  • Assess market needs and customer requirements to develop targeted strategies for business development.

4. Generating Leads:

  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new leads and opportunities for the company, leveraging networking, cold calling, industry events, and digital marketing channels.
  • Qualify leads and prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit and potential for business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development within the high-tech interconnect industry, with a focus on Hyperscaler, fiber optics and data communications test equipment markets.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in a competitive market environment.
  • Strong understanding of high-speed test and measurement technologies, applications, and customer requirements.
  • Strong business acumen with proven experience in leading and managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Creativity and adaptability to changing market conditions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Rolodex of key contacts in the semiconductor and high speed interconnect industry is a plus.
