About the Role

The Business Development Manager will lead sales efforts to promote and sell advanced HVAC solutions and temperature controls across the US. This role emphasizes driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver customized solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and engage new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Collaborate with Consulting Engineers to develop specifications, leading to potential opportunities.
  • Present tailored temperature control and energy solutions to meet client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutual satisfaction.
  • Work with technical sales teams to create proposals and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing insights to senior management.
  • Conduct technical presentations (lunch and learns) for prospective clients, consulting engineers, GCs, and mechanical contractors.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows as required.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance.
  • Collaborate internally with finance, operations, engineering, and service departments to build cohesive relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in HVAC or Temperature Controls Sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of building automation systems and energy management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
