It requires a deep understanding of our prospective customers’ needs, strategic planning capabilities, and the ability to deliver complex solutions. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and driving demo and delivery strategies across the organization. This role is highly technical – we are looking for someone with a desire for deep product knowledge, and the confidence to leverage that knowledge to add value to prospects!

Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Director of Sales Engineering and collaborate with the Co-Founders and Senior Management to deliver excellent pre-sales support to our North American customer base and help define future demo and delivery strategies.
  • Lead technical discovery calls with prospects to understand their desired user journey and functional product and integration requirements.
  • Support Account Executives in addressing complex product, technical, and integration questions.
  • Assist Account Executives in differentiating our solution from, or working with, existing common enterprise systems.
  • Mentor and support junior Sales Engineers, sharing best practices, providing guidance, and helping elevate the overall performance of the sales engineering team.
  • Lead hands-on product workshops with prospects and customers, building applications live on the platform.
  • Scope, design, build, and demo legal workflows for prospects on our no-code platform, helping them visualize the potential of a partnership.
  • Be responsible for providing responses to technical documentation related to information security, product capability, and enterprise architecture during the sales process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key prospect stakeholders.
  • Strategize with Account Executives on the sales strategy and plan for each account.
  • Deliver higher-complexity product demonstrations to prospects.
  • Proactively provide feedback to the Product team regarding feature prioritization and participate in usability testing for new product features.
  • Collaborate with the sales team in pre-sale trials, discovery workshops, and business case development to ensure a seamless transition from sales to customer success, providing technical expertise and strategic input.
  • Act as the technical voice of our prospects, helping address escalated product issues with speed and urgency, orchestrating and rallying resources within the company as needed.
  • Maintain and update the suite of standard product demonstrations used by Account Executives.

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in technical customer-facing roles, with a proven track record of configuring/implementing or selling enterprise process improvement SaaS products. Experience in facilitating solution scoping, design, and requirements gathering workshops to build bespoke demonstrations and proofs-of-concept is essential.
  • Experience in legal operations or familiarity with lawyers, law firms, and/or in-house legal departments.
  • Proficient in conversations with IT stakeholders, addressing common concerns around interoperability and differentiating from common enterprise systems such as ServiceNOW, Nintex, Microsoft Office365 (Power Apps, SharePoint, Power BI), Salesforce, Tableau, etc.
  • Proficient with JavaScript and developing system integrations using REST APIs with enterprise ERP, CRM, DMS, and other systems.
  • Strong technical acumen, with experience in configuring software platforms, managing technical projects, and developing integrations.
  • Creative, driven, and possess strategic vision to help prospects envision a better future with our platform.
  • High-energy, dynamic, and an excellent communicator, paired with strong attention to detail and an appreciation for user experience.
  • Willingness to consistently go beyond the call of duty for the team, challenging the status quo to make improvements.
  • Proven ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that embraces rapid change and disruption.
  • Outcome-oriented, adaptable, collaborative, memorable, and personable.
