Senior Solutions Engineer

We’re hiring: Solutions Engineer – Data Platform | East Coast | Remote

This role is for someone who can blend technical depth + customer-facing presence to help enterprise teams solve real data challenges across catalog, lineage, governance, discovery, and quality. You’ll be the trusted technical advisor during evaluations and pilots, and you’ll stay involved through onboarding and long-term success.

Why this role matters

You’ll sit at the center of the GTM motion — translating complex data environments into clear solutions, running high-impact demos/POVs, and partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to bring customer needs back into the roadmap.

What you’ll do

• Lead deep-dive discovery across customer architecture, governance models, and pain points
• Run demos, workshops, and POVs tied to real-world metadata + lineage use cases
• Design integration strategy (ingestion pipelines, APIs, metadata modeling, lineage capture, access patterns)
• Build/customize POCs and technical assets to accelerate adoption
• Support AEs in technical selling (incl. RFPs) and value-based narratives
• Partner with Customer Success to drive smooth onboarding and ongoing wins

What you’ll bring

• 3–5+ years in Solutions/Sales Engineering, Data Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role
• Strong grasp of modern data stacks (warehouses/lakehouses, ETL/ELT, orchestration, streaming)
• Hands-on with SQL, Python/scripting, APIs/SDKs, and cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Strong communication + storytelling; comfortable with enterprise stakeholders
• Startup mindset: adaptable, fast-moving, customer-feedback driven
