Digital Solutions Consultant

Location: 

Remote (with 40–60% travel in North America, occasional Americas travel)  

At ABB, we drive industrial progress—leaner, cleaner, and smarter. We’re looking for a Digital Solutions Consultant to provide leadership and expertise in MES solutions for the pulp & paper industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead MES solution consulting for sales, proposals, and projects  
• Analyze customer needs and design digital solutions aligned with industry best practices  
• Act as a subject-matter expert on MES software (pulp & paper focus)  
• Mentor sales/project teams and influence customer leadership  
• Support business development and pursue new opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Software, or related field (Master’s preferred)  
• 7+ years in OT/software industry, 5+ years in MES implementation/consulting/sales (pulp & paper required)  
• Strong knowledge of Order Management, Production Planning/Management, and Quality Management in pulp & paper  
• Proven success in customer-facing roles and consultative selling  
• Industrial automation/software experience (Pulp & Paper)  
• Strong networking, change management experience a plus  
• Fluent in English; willing to travel 40–60%
