About the role
Zoho is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solutions Consultant to join our dynamic professional services team. As a Solutions Consultant, you will responsible for leading the end-to-end design, deployment, customization, and optimization of Zoho applications in alignment with customer business needs. This includes conducting customer consultations, system architecture design, configuring and customizing Zoho systems and delivering administrator training. You will be expected to collaborate closely with clients, internal development team and product teams to ensure the successful delivery of tailored, scalable Zoho solutions following established Project Management Processes (Agile/Waterfall/hybrid).
The position requires candidate to work closely with prospective clients to understand their business requirements, articulate how Zoho’s solutions can meet their needs, and execute implementations to make Zoho operational for customers. The role requires a blend of technical product knowledge, solution design, consultative engagement and communication skills.
This is not a remote role. Office-based in Austin,TX or McAllen, TX ;
What you’ll do
Technical Assessment & Solution Design
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Zoho implementations. Assess requirements and evaluate to best combination of Zoho Products, Product Features and Customizations after due consideration of technical constraints. Design and architect solutions that scale with customer process, technical environments and workloads. Develop technical artifacts, communicate and present solution architecture & feasibility assessments to Customers(technical and non-technical) to ensure buy-in on the technical approach
End-to-End Zoho Implementation & Customization
- Deliver customized solution demonstrations that effectively showcase Zoho’s capabilities in addressing specific client needs. Development of proof-of-concept environments and solution documentation. Lead full implementation of Zoho products and Zoho bundles.Configure applications to align with business processes, including setting up roles, permissions, modules, dashboards, and automation workflows. Implement custom modules, blueprints, forms, and reports. Migrate data from legacy systems with accuracy and structure. Ensure seamless integration between Zoho apps and external platforms.
Drive Project & Delivery Management
- Drive or work collaboratively with project managers and Solution consultant team to meet milestones and client expectations. Assist in project planning, system analysis, and delivery quality assurance. as a trusted advisor to clients, recommending best practices and additional Zoho apps for business. Comply to established Agile Project Management Practices (Time tracking, Scope management, Change management,Estimates) to manage delivery of projects and customer expectations.
Customer Advisory & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, recommending best practices and additional Zoho apps for business improvement. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into Zoho-based solutions. Understand each customer’s evolving needs and Support business process reengineering and solution design through consultative sessions to expand their Zoho usage. Continuously improve understanding of Zohos product offerings and industry trends to provide value-added analysis for customer.
Support Customer Education
- Document technical configurations, user guides, workflows, and process diagrams required for project delivery. Deliver structured training sessions for system administrators. Provide ongoing support during warranty period after project rollout, ensuring adoption and satisfaction. Work to support internal enterprise marketing efforts by sharing solution frameworks to other customers via webinars & Zoho event presentations.
What you'll need
- Experience in a presales, solutions/technology consulting, or other customer-facing technical role, preferably within SaaS or the customer experience domain (Zoho experience is highly advantageous).
- Bachelor’s degree or a Post-Graduate Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems(with strong tech affinity), Software Engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience with implementing or administering customer experience/ support platforms or similar full-stack customer facing solutions (business applications software like CRM, Help Desk, Accounting, Analytics, Project Management etc.).
- Strong understanding of System architecture, workflow automations and blueprints.
- Experience with data/data integration/data analytics (data migration strategies/ ETL/SQL/ understanding of data modelling/data mapping/Reporting build/dashboard build/experience with data visualization tools).
- Experience with integrating solutions with API(Rest/SOAP) integrations and/or experience working with middleware integration.
Preferred Skills
- Experience or strong proficiency with programming/scripting (e.g. Zoho Deluge, Python,JavaScript, Java, Groovy, Golang, C,C++,React etc.).
- Experience or working knowledge of working with app/api building frameworks (e.g. .NET framework, Spring Boot, FastAPI etc.).
- Experience or basic knowledge of code repository management and CI/CD (e.g. Github,Spinnaker,Maven,Docker,Kubernetes).
- Experience or familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks or understanding/Experience with of Project Management methodologies.
- Experience or proficiency in API/integration experience (REST, SOAP, webhooks).
- Technical certifications in business applications software like CRM, Help Desk, Accounting, Analytics, Project Management etc.
- Proficiency in Workplace Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role starts at $80,000.
