Solutions Engineer

Position Overview

Solutions Engineers are technical experts who bridge the gap between sales and engineering, ensuring that customer needs are matched with the right technical solutions. In this role, you will work closely with sales teams, prospects, and customers to demonstrate the value of our products and services. Solutions Engineers play a critical role in pre-sales engagements by translating business requirements into effective solutions, facilitating faster deal closures, and driving customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements and present tailored technical solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical workshops that highlight solution capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align customer needs with product functionality and roadmap.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by identifying customer challenges and recommending effective technical approaches.
  • Develop technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and solution documentation to support the sales cycle.
  • Ensure smooth handoff to post-sales support and implementation teams for customer success.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Support sales in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and technical due diligence requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in a pre-sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and product management teams.
  • Familiarity with Camera System Design, Electrical Diagrams, and Cellular Signal Strength are preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with enterprise customers and large-scale solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, and integration methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt solutions to unique customer requirements.
