A UK-based SaaS company that supports essential industries is seeking a talented Solutions Engineer to join its growing team.  

About the Role  

This is a hands-on, client-facing role ideal for someone with a technical background and experience in software implementation. The position involves configuring a complex platform, integrating with external systems, and ensuring enterprise clients get maximum value from their investment.  

Key Responsibilities:  

Implementation & Configuration  

• Gather and scope client requirements to configure the platform accordingly  
• Document any functional gaps and communicate with internal development teams  
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support delivery and ongoing use  

API & Integration  

• Support and advise clients on integrating third-party systems (e.g., ERP, GIS, compliance tools)  
• Build reports and dashboards to reflect operational data and meet business requirements  
• Ensure seamless data flow and stable integration between systems  

Collaboration & Communication  

• Partner with internal stakeholders (Product, QA, Development, Support) to deliver tailored solutions  
• Participate in the creation of test plans for implementations  
• Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences  
• Act as the key technical contact during onboarding, pre-sales discussions, and post-go-live support  

What They’re Looking For  

• 2–5 years’ experience in SaaS implementation, technical consulting, or similar roles  
• Strong understanding of API integration, data formats (JSON, CSV, XML), and querying with SQL  
• Solid programming or scripting experience (e.g., JavaScript, Python, PHP)  
• Familiar with tools such as Postman, Tableau, or Power BI  
• Knowledge of identity providers (e.g., Okta, Auth0, Azure AD)  
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
