Our client is a fast-growing, early-stage cybersecurity company delivering next-generation Managed Detection & Response (MDR) and SOC services. Their autonomous security platform combines advanced threat detection, deep visibility, and rapid response workflows to help security teams reduce risk and stop attacks faster.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Solutions Engineer to play a critical role in supporting go-to-market efforts across the East Coast. This is a customer-facing, technical role working closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to drive adoption of an autonomous SOC / SIEM platform.
You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor to prospects and customers, leading demos, technical discovery, and solution design while helping shape how the product is positioned and sold.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technical partner to the sales team throughout the full sales cycle
- Lead product demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-value engagements
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, aligning security operations needs with platform capabilities
- Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to support GTM strategies for SecOps solutions
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to other Solutions Engineers as the team scales
- Continuously improve technical messaging, demo environments, and sales enablement materials
Requirements
- Proven experience (3-5 yrs min) in a Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer role within an early-stage or high-growth cybersecurity startup
- Strong expertise in SecOps, including SOC, SIEM, MDR, or detection & response platforms
- Hands-on experience supporting GTM motions and driving technical win rates
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
