Role Overview:
As a Solutions Engineer – Wastewater, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering advanced process solutions that address complex water and wastewater challenges.
You will:
- Size, design, and develop cost-effective process solutions tailored to customer needs
- Prepare technical bids, proposals, and accurate cost estimates for projects
- Participate in design and process risk reviews to ensure effective, reliable solutions
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, sales reps, internal engineering teams, consultants, and customers
- Ensure all designs meet contract specifications and technical drawings
- Gather and utilize competitive intelligence, maintain reference materials, and update proposal templates and design tools
- Draft and clarify orders, resolving any discrepancies in price, scope, or delivery schedule
- Source vendor quotes for accurate and competitive project budgets
- Prepare project kickoff materials and transfer documentation for project execution teams
- Analyze completed project data to inform and improve future estimates and proposals
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, or Civil preferred); Master’s degree is a plus
- 2–3 years’ experience in engineering or a related technical role
- Solid background in process engineering, with specific knowledge of wastewater treatment technologies
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to review and interpret AutoCAD drawings, including P&IDs and PFDs
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
