Role Overview:

As a Solutions Engineer – Wastewater, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering advanced process solutions that address complex water and wastewater challenges.

You will:

  • Size, design, and develop cost-effective process solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Prepare technical bids, proposals, and accurate cost estimates for projects
  • Participate in design and process risk reviews to ensure effective, reliable solutions
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, sales reps, internal engineering teams, consultants, and customers
  • Ensure all designs meet contract specifications and technical drawings
  • Gather and utilize competitive intelligence, maintain reference materials, and update proposal templates and design tools
  • Draft and clarify orders, resolving any discrepancies in price, scope, or delivery schedule
  • Source vendor quotes for accurate and competitive project budgets
  • Prepare project kickoff materials and transfer documentation for project execution teams
  • Analyze completed project data to inform and improve future estimates and proposals

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, or Civil preferred); Master’s degree is a plus
  • 2–3 years’ experience in engineering or a related technical role
  • Solid background in process engineering, with specific knowledge of wastewater treatment technologies
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to review and interpret AutoCAD drawings, including P&IDs and PFDs
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
