🇺🇸 Strategic Sales Director | Monitoring & Observability | Financial Services

Our client is a global leader in real-time monitoring and observability for hybrid IT environments. With $100M ARR, 400+ employees, and a customer base that includes 9 of the 10 largest investment banks, they are now doubling down on growth in the US. To lead that charge, they are hiring a Strategic Sales Director US – a commercial leader with deep cybersecurity experience, strong knowledge of the Financial Services space, and a track record of building high-performing sales teams.

As Strategic Sales Director, you will lead the US sales team. The team is focused on a defined ICP of financial services companies with revenues >$1B.

Many are already clients in some capacity, and the opportunity lies in both new business acquisition with enough greenfield opportunity and expanding into new divisions, subsidiaries and global use cases.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and scale the US sales organization
  • Own GTM strategy and commercial execution for the region
  • Coach and enable the team to consistently meet/exceed quota
  • Drive land & expand across existing enterprise accounts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing and CS
  • Report directly to the Global Head of Sales and shape global sales direction

Must-Haves

  • 10+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience
  • 5+ years in monitoring/observability or infrastructure tooling
  • 5+ years selling into Financial Services (banking, insurance, asset management)
  • 5+ years in a sales leadership role
  • Experience selling to CxO, CISO, Head Infra, and Observability personas
  • Consistent track record (80%+ quota attainment)
  • Native English required

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with MEDDIC or SPICED frameworks
  • Experience in high-growth B2B environments

Deal & Performance Context

  • Land deals: $100K–$150K ARR
  • Expand deals: up to 50x growth (top clients paying $5M ARR)
  • First-year AE target: $650K ARR (ramped), Year 2: $1M ARR
