Job Title: Tech Sales Director / Country Manager  

Location: Canada / Austin, Texas  

Salary: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Growth: Drive $1M+ ARR in the first 12 months by acquiring and expanding Startup, SMB, and Enterprise accounts.
  • Sales Strategy: Secure at least 3 Enterprise, 5 SMB, and 10 Startup accounts within 6 months through a land-and-expand approach.
  • Collaboration: Partner across the organization to deliver a cohesive market strategy driven by customer engagement.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Manage pipeline forecasting and performance metrics, maintaining a 3x coverage ratio.
  • Team Leadership: Evolve from individual contributor to player-coach; recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Market Expansion: Build go-to-market strategies to penetrate new industries and geographies while growing existing accounts.
  • Sales Optimization: Refine processes for efficiency, scalability, and best practices.
  • Investor Relations: Support executive leadership with sales performance insights and fundraising strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10–15 years in sales, with 5–8 years in B2B leadership.
  • Proven track record generating $1M+ ARR in startup/scaleup environments.
  • Strong background in AWS solutions (Cloud Practitioner certification a plus).
  • Experience selling complex solutions (AWS/AI) to CTOs, CIOs, VPs of Engineering, and technical buyers.
  • Established network in US/Canada across Enterprise, SMB, and Startup ecosystems.
  • Proficient in sales enablement tools, data analysis, and forecasting.
  • Experience building and scaling sales teams from scratch.
  • Entrepreneurial, growth-driven mindset.
  • Eligible to work in USA/Canada.
