Vice President of Sales
Our client
Our client is a privately owned, high-growth staffing and recruiting firm with aggressive plans for geographic expansion. To support this trajectory, they're creating a new Vice President of Sales role to help build and scale a high-performance sales organization nationwide.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on leadership role for a builder who can translate strategy into field execution. You'll work in collaboration with the Chief Sales Officer, who you'll report to directly, to design a go-to-market approach, hire and develop sales talent, and provide hip-to-hip coaching with reps in priority markets to drive new logos, profitable growth, and repeatable sales excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Build & Scale the Team: Recruit, lead, and develop a team of 10+ Business Development Managers across multiple markets and establish a cadence for 1:1s, field rides, pipeline and forecast reviews.
- Sales Culture: Foster a high-performance sales culture built on clear goals, transparent communication, and accountability.
- Field Execution & Coaching: Work in-market with reps to advance deals, elevate customer meetings, and refine value propositions and pricing.
- Performance Management: Drive CRM discipline, forecast accuracy, and KPI accountability; manage pricing and margin to deliver profitable growth.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with operations, recruiting, and leadership to ensure on-time fulfillment, strong client experience, and scalable processes.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated success building and leading multi-market sales teams in light industrial staffing (or closely related workforce solutions).
- A true player–coach mindset—equally comfortable shaping strategy and joining client meetings to move opportunities forward.
- Mastery of territory design, enterprise pursuits, sales process, pricing/margin management, and forecasting/CRM rigor.
- A builder’s orientation: data-informed, process-driven, and focused on outcomes.
