Vice President of Sales
Job Description
We are partnering with a global, private equity–backed SaaS business at an important stage of its growth. The company has a highly embedded, mission-critical product, a loyal global customer base, and a proven recurring revenue model. The focus is now on raising execution standards and scaling the commercial organization to support the next phase of growth. To support this, the business is hiring a Vice President of Direct Sales to lead its global direct sales organization across North America and Europe.
This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will be responsible for a meaningful portion of the company’s recurring revenue, managing a multi-region sales team across field, inside, and education-focused sales motions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the commercial strategy aligned with growth and value creation objectives.
- Build, lead, and develop a global sales organization across North America and Europe.
- Establish scalable sales processes, playbooks, and operating cadence to drive predictable revenue.
- Lead from the front on strategic deals and key customer relationships.
- Own forecasting, pipeline discipline, and performance reporting.
- Partner closely with the CRO and cross-functional leaders to align execution with company priorities.
- Support expansion initiatives and future acquisition integration.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience owning and scaling a meaningful recurring revenue number in B2B SaaS.
- Track record leading distributed, multi-region sales teams.
- Hands-on operator with strong execution and commercial judgment.
- Experienced in high-accountability, growth-stage or PE-backed environments.
- Clear, confident communicator with senior leadership and investor presence.
- Sector experience not required; emphasis on leadership, rigor, and growth mindset.
