RevsUp represents a privately-held end-to-end Payments FinTech that has added 16,000 new customers since 2009, including Caesars, FanDuel, Westlake Financial, and Lending Club.

This 250-employee, Series D firm, which has been honored by PayTech Awards, Future Digital Awards, and CNBC World’s Top FinTech Companies, is seeking a VP of Sales to lead a team of 18 sales directors and individual contributors. This role reports to the CRO, and you’ll work from your home office in a preferred metro area.

Solution

A confidential, growth-stage payments fintech company develops technology to facilitate the end-to-end customer payment experience, making it easy for businesses to accept, disburse and manage payments.

Our modern and reliable platform lowers the total cost of payments by increasing acceptance rates, driving self-service and simplifying exceptions. We future-proof our clients’ payments roadmap by including all payment types and channels through a single contract and integration.

Innovations such as our award-winning cash-at-retail network and Smart Link technology help move businesses from a step behind to miles ahead.

Role

  • Senior leadership role, reporting to the CRO and working from your home office.
  • $250k to $300k base salary, commensurate with previous experience and financial success. $500k to $600k OTE. Uncapped comp plan and meaningful early-stage equity.
  • We’re looking for 10+ years of sales leadership experience, including recent experience working as a second-line leader. If you’ve helped scale a firm from $50m to $100m, $100m to $200m, etc., you are at the top of our list.
  • Some experience in payments or FinTech is helpful but not required.
  • In this role you will lead 4 directors and a team with 20 total employees. They include Enterprise AEs, Mid-Market AEs, SDRs, and channel reps. If you have worked for both a large firm and a mid-stage startup, that is a nice combo for us.
  • You have led a team that is similar to ours in sales cycle (3 to 12 months) and deal size ($200k to $1 million in revenue).
  • Your team will often call on lending companies (auto loans, personal loans), tolling organizations, credit unions, and mortgage servicing firms.

Culture

  • 3.6 Glassdoor, 92% Approve CEO, 74% Recommend to Friend.
  • One salesperson says, “The executives are approachable, transparent, and genuinely care about employee success.”
  • Outstanding demand-gen operation includes YouTube videos, consistent blog posts, trade show sponsorships, and podcast appearances.
  • This is an expansion hire; we are looking for someone to contribute to best practices, sales playbook, company culture, and big-time revenue growth.
