Director of Sales – Cloud & AI-Native
About the Role
We’re looking for a high-energy leader to drive year-over-year growth within our Cloud, AI, Security, Strategic ISV, managed services portfolio. As a Director of Sales, you will originate and close complex cloud deals (>$10 M), guide clients through the full cloud and AI transformation journey and collaborate closely with our hyperscale and ISV partners to bring the best of cloud-native and ai-native solutions to our customers. This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Looking for entrepreneurial sales leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments and own the full sales lifecycle
- Lead the full sales cycle—solution shaping, financial structuring, RFP/RFI response, negotiation, and contract execution—for engagements typically $2–15 M TCV.
- Assemble cross-functional pursuit teams (pre-sales architects, delivery leads, etc.) and drive win strategies
- Leverage AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and strategic ISV field teams to access programs, funding, and executive sponsorship driving deep co-sell opportunities.
- Coordinate joint account plans and escalate opportunities through partner sales plays and marketplaces.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, webinars, and roundtables; contribute content that elevates brand authority in cloud and AI transformation.
- Ensure smooth transition to delivery teams; stay engaged as executive sponsor to protect margin, secure references, and open expansion routes.
Qualifications
- 8+ years enterprise sales experience in cloud consulting, AI/ML services, or related.
- Demonstrated record of closing complex engagements and exceeding annual quotas of $8–10M.
- Deep familiarity with at least one hyperscaler’s GTM motions, programs, and incentive structures.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts commonly used in cloud and ai-native concepts in business-outcome language.
- Exceptional written & verbal communication, executive presence, sound judgment, integrity, and collaborative mindset.
- Entrepreneurial drive and mindset operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
