About the Job :  

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts within the Logistics Equipment business segment across North America. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and closing complex capital equipment and system installation projects. This role is crucial for expanding our market presence and achieving aggressive revenue growth targets.

Main Responsibilities:  

Sales Strategy and Execution  

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue and market share growth for logistics equipment installation services (e.g., conveyors, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), sortation systems).  
  • Identify, qualify, and close large-scale, complex installation projects with new and existing clients across the north America market.   
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle, from initial lead generation and proposal development to negotiation and contract closing.   
  • Achieve or exceed assigned annual, quarterly, and monthly sales and profit targets.  

Team Leadership & Management  

  • Implement effective sales processes, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to ensure high team performance and accurate forecasting.  
  • Collaborate closely with the Engineering, Project Management, and Operations teams to ensure successful project handoff and execution.

Market and Customer Relationship Management  

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with executive-level stakeholders at target accounts.  
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and inform product/service development.  
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.

Experience & Qualifications :  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or industry-related field  
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the logistics, material handling or industrial automation industry  
  • Deep understanding of complex logistics system and the installation process.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture  
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changes
