The EHR SOLUTIONS/INTEGRATION ENGINEER at Clarus will be responsible for leading the Design, Prototyping, and Implementation of Electronic Health Record Integrations with major platforms, including Epic, Oracle/Cerner, AthenaHealth, and Homecare Homebase.

• Make An Immediate Impact: You will serve as the Technical Lead for all EHR Integration initiatives, from discovery through deployment.  
• Daily Use of Cutting-Edge, Innovative Healthcare Technology: You will manage relationships with EHR and Gateway Providers, design HL7/FHIR-based Workflows, and deliver working Prototypes for handoff to Engineering for development as well as create high-fidelity Prototypes and reference implementations in JavaScript, Python, or PHP.  
• Hands-On Engagement Across All Departments: You will work directly with Third-Party EHR Vendors and Clearinghouses to scope, negotiate, and manage integrations while also collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and other Internal Stakeholders to align integration capabilities with platform strategy.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN AN ENGINEERING PROFESSIONAL LIKE YOU?  

Education Requirement(s)  

• Bachelor’s Degree PREFERRED  
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Healthcare Software and direct EHR Integration experience at a SaaS Company  
• Proven expertise working with Epic, Oracle/Cerner, AthenaHealth, Homecare Homebase, and more integrations  
• Demonstrated success building relationships with EHR Vendors, Clearinghouses, and Data Gateway Providers  
• Proficient in at least one modern Programming Language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, PHP)  
• Experience building technical Prototypes or Integration proof-of-concepts  
• Strong understanding of HIPAA and Healthcare Data Security Standards  
• Familiarity with SaaS-based Healthcare Platforms PREFERRED  
• Proven efficiency with one or more of HL7 Certification, FHIR Proficiency Certification, IHE Certification, Epic Interface Certifications, Oracle/Cerner Code Program, etc. PREFERRED  
• Previous experience with Multichannel Conversational AI Systems (Voice and Text)
