What you will be doing:

​

The Business Consultant manages ERP Software implementations with a focus on Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain Operations processes. In this position you must be comfortable communicating with key decision makers about the software and implementation process. Additionally, you must be capable of conducting client-facing interactions including training, problem solving, requirements gathering and solutions development. Client interaction can be in person or remote or a combination of both.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and supply chain process. Analyze functional and technical requirements for ERP implementation.
• Work on-site with clients, guiding projects to completion within budget and on-time.
• Conduct testing, write documentation and support go-lives.
• Ensure seamless integration with existing clients’ systems and assist with data migration and system customization, as needed.
• Provide comprehensive training to client’s end users on ERP Modules and functionality. Offer post-implementation support to clients’ to address user queries and resolve issues that arise.
• Evaluate and optimize clients’ manufacturing and/or supply chain process and identify opportunities for streamlining operations, improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met. Effectively communicate project status and address any concerns or challenges.

Minimum Qualifications:

​

Associate Business Consultant

​

• Bachelor’s degree with 0-3 years of relevant experience in supply chain and/or manufacturing or equivalent combination.

​

Business Consultant

​

• Bachelor’s degree with 3-10 years of relevant experience in supply chain and/or manufacturing or equivalent combination.

​

Senior Business Consultant

​

• Bachelor’s degree with 10-20 years of relevant experience in supply chain and/or manufacturing or equivalent combination.

​

Principal Business Consultant

​

• Bachelor’s degree with 20+ years of relevant experience in supply chain and/or manufacturing or equivalent combination.

​

All levels:

​

• Experience with ERP software implementation or upgrade project is required.
• MUST be ITAR compliant for work with US federal contractors.
• Candidates must be able to effectively create and speak to a vision of project design resulting in service delivery excellence as you will be working with customers to determine direction and solution design needed to support their business and deliver components of the project.
• Candidates must possess manufacturing, supply chain or distribution experience and have extensive knowledge of operational best practices. Business specific expertise would include:
• Material Requirements Planning
• Work Order Processing
• Repetitive Manufacturing Functionality
• Inventory Control
• Lot/Serial Tracking
• Sales Order and Purchase Order Processing
• Strong understanding of business process modeling and reengineering.
• Ability to facilitate cross-functional workshops and drive consensus.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Experience with client engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

​

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Accounting or closely related discipline.
• ERP consulting experience.
• QAD or NetSuite ERP experience is preferred.
• ERP certification, a plus.
• Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean, cGMP, GDP, CCSP, APICS, 21 CFR Part 11 Validation, etc. strongly desired.
• Vertical expertise in Life Science, Automotive, Electronics, CPG and or Food & Beverage desired.

Physical Environment:

• Ability to focus on computer screens for extensive periods of time.
• The employee is occasionally required to stand and reach.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, Regular Business hours, with some afterhours work as business needs require.

​

Travel:

​

Travel is expected for this position. Up to 40% is generally expected but may require more or less travel from time to time to meet customer needs.
