Head of Sales - Global Clinical Supply Organisation

Remote, East Coast US

We are partnering with a well-established company in the clinical trial supply industry to recruit a Global Manager of Sales. This is a pivotal new role within the business, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact on a global scale.  

About the Role  

As Sales Director, you will lead a global sales team including Business Development Directors and Account Managers, driving alignment and excellence across all commercial functions.  

You’ll play a central role in defining and executing the company’s global sales strategy, ensuring strong client relationships, efficient sales processes, and continued business growth.  

Key Responsibilities  

  • Lead and develop a global sales team (up to 6 direct reports).  
  • Define and implement a cohesive global sales strategy.  
  • Drive collaboration and consistency across regional sales functions.  
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align commercial goals with company objectives.  
  • Oversee performance metrics, forecasting, and sales process optimisation.  

About You  

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in global sales and business development.  
  • At least 3 years in a commercial leadership or management role.  
  • Proven experience selling a service into the clinical trial supply chain – i.e. packaging, labelling, distribution, kitting, ancillary/comparator sourcing, eClinical  
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on leadership style.  
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
