Presales Engineer – Digital Signage & In-Vehicle Embedded Systems
We are looking for a Presales Engineer with a technical profile and strong solution-oriented mindset, for projects in the area of digital signage and embedded systems integrated into public transport vehicles and automotive applications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical requirements for each project and contribute to defining end-to-end solutions (displays, LED/LCD and similar signage, tablets, controllers, media players, connectivity, CMS, software integration).
- Define and validate system components for embedded equipment installed in public transport vehicles and automotive systems (control units, communication modules, driver and passenger information displays, etc.).
- Prepare and update technical documentation, product comparison sheets, standard configurations and quotation templates.
- Participate in technical discussions with suppliers and technology partners for clarifications, component selection and solution configuration.
- Collaborate with the sales team in preparing techno-commercial offers, technical annexes and presentation materials for customers.
- Take part in lab tests, demo setups and proof-of-concept installations, in accordance with internal procedures and guidelines.
- Attends workshops, conferences, trade fairs, and exhibitions to identify potential suppliers
Main Requirements:
- Ongoing or completed technical university studies (Automation and Computers, Electronics, Computer Science or similar fields).
- Basic to advanced understanding of hardware for displays, LED/LCD and similar signage, embedded systems and system architectures.
- Basic understanding of operating systems such as Linux, Android, Windows Embedded (courses, projects, practical or professional experience).
- Interest in software ecosystems related to digital signage (CMS, applications, widgets).
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken), fluent in technical communication and documentation.
- Ability to travel for business purposes
- Experience in presales, embedded systems, AV, IT, public transport or automotive is an advantage.
