Project Implementation Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Project Implementation Manager with indirect taxation software experience, such as OneSource.

We are looking for Project Managers with large-scale software implementation experience to SAP and/or Oracle environments to support a reputable AI and technology company empowering professionals with trusted content and workflow automation. This is an onsite role with travel located in McLean, VA.

Responsibilities for Project Implementation Manager:

​

•  Responsible for looking at the statements of work with the end customer, understanding and managing project budgets, scope, milestones and contractual expectations.
•  Oversee one large, complex initiative plus 2-3 mid-size projects and then a dozen or so minor projects that require only brief or intermittent touch points.
•  Be willing and able to do lots of project documentation within the PMO including working through templates and standardized documentation.
•  Responsible for some of the more mundane tasks like time entry and approval, project

Qualifications for Project Implementation Manager:

​

•  Must have large-scale software implementation experience to SAP and/or Oracle environments
•  Technical ERP experience, including API's.
•  Must have an indirect tax background
•  Change management and consulting experience is a plus.
•  Understanding client workflows and advising clients about integrating SaaS products into their API would be valuable.
•  Must have strong customer-facing acumen and high professional confidence.

Compensation for Project Implementation Manager:

​

•  Pay Range: $130,000 - $170,000 (based on years of experience and education)
•  Benefits: Cigna medical, dental, vision, 401k, 2+ weeks PTO and 11 Federal Holidays
