Regional Sales Director - Federal Civilian

Washington D.C. area  

$320,000 - $350,000 OTE

Scout Global is partnering with a Global Cyber Security Leader who are expanding their Public Sector footprint and looking for a Regional Sales Director to take ownership of the Federal Civilian territory.

This is a key hire — you’ll be stepping into a region with strong existing accounts, an Inside Sales Account Manager, and a Sales Engineer already aligned to Civilian Federal — all part of your combined quota. Reporting directly to the VP, Public Sector, you’ll be driving new business, renewals, and upsells as we head into an exciting new fiscal year.

If you’re a seasoned Federal Civilian sales professional with a proven track record of owning your territory and delivering results, this could be your next big move.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Driving new logo acquisition and business development within the Federal Civilian space.
  • Managing and growing existing accounts — delivering consistently against quota.
  • Building a robust pipeline and providing accurate forecasting.
  • Creating and executing tailored business plans for key accounts, engaging stakeholders, and evangelizing the company’s value proposition.
  • Operating in a collaborative pod structure with your Sales Engineer and Inside Sales Rep to ensure alignment, velocity, and customer success.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers — providing a white-glove experience from POC to deployment.
  • Leveraging internal teams (Systems Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Finance) to orchestrate every customer engagement.
  • Working with channel partners and leveraging your Federal ecosystem to drive growth.
  • Supporting marketing initiatives and events within your region.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven success in Federal Civilian sales, with a network and relationships already in place.
  • A hunter mindset — self-starter, driven, and commercially sharp.
  • Consistent record of quota overachievement in enterprise or cybersecurity sales.
  • Experience selling network security or SaaS solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal buying processes, and comfort navigating complex deals across CIO/CISO stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of sales methodologies (MEDDIC preferred).
  • Collaborative, high-integrity, and customer-obsessed.

📍 Location: Must be based in the Washington, D.C. area.  

💰 Compensation: Competitive base + commission + benefits, reflective of senior enterprise experience.
