Our client is a fast-growing SaaS company on a mission to help businesses automate workflows and accelerate growth through AI-powered tools.

The Opportunity

As the Senior Director of Sales, you’ll own the company’s revenue engine. You’ll define and execute the global sales strategy, build and lead a high-performing team, and drive predictable, scalable growth. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial SaaS environments and knows how to take a company from early traction to consistent seven- and eight-figure ARR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to achieve aggressive revenue and growth targets.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team — including Account Executives, SDRs, and Sales Managers.
  • Design and manage scalable sales processes, playbooks, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer journey and optimize conversion and retention.
  • Establish strong forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting practices.
  • Negotiate high-value enterprise and mid-market contracts.
  • Identify and expand new verticals, partnerships, and market opportunities.
  • Represent the voice of the customer to influence product direction and market positioning.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging SaaS trends.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or Director-level role.
  • Proven record of scaling SaaS revenue from <$5M to $20M+ ARR.
  • Expertise in building and managing distributed, remote sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of modern SaaS metrics (CAC, LTV, MRR/ARR, churn, NRR).
  • Strong grasp of CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and sales automation workflows.
  • Experience in enterprise, mid-market, and/or channel sales models.
  • Data-driven, strategic, and highly collaborative leadership style.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI, automation, or workflow SaaS products.
  • Background in startup or scale-up environments.
  • Track record of aligning sales and marketing through data and shared goals.
