Job Title: Senior Solutions Engineer

​

Responsibilities

​

• Act as a strategic technical advisor and trusted partner to our Enterprise sales team and customers.
• Elevate sales efficiency and customer engagement by delivering deep technical expertise, tailored demos, and customer-specific insights throughout the sales cycle.
• Work closely with Account Executives to craft solutions that align 1Password’s capabilities with customer challenges and goals, navigating complex requirements, influencing technical stakeholders, and clearly articulating value from discovery to close.
• Help qualify opportunities, define technical success criteria, and drive alignment within deals using frameworks like MEDDPICC.
• Identify opportunities, position our product suite, and ensure proposed solutions meet technical needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Support to strengthen customer-facing resources.
• Mentor peers, sharing knowledge to uplevel technical expertise and soft skills across the Solutions Engineering team.

Remote Opportunity

This role is a remote opportunity based in the US in either MST or PST time zones reporting into the Manager, Solutions Engineering.

What You Can Expect

​

• Serve as the primary technical advisor/resource within 1Password’s Go-to-Market team.
• Build strong relationships & deliver technical coaching to Account Executives.
• Proactively scope and recommend tailored technical solutions.
• Provide technical education to customers regarding the 1Password suite of products.

​

What We’re Looking For

​

• 6+ years of experience in customer-facing roles within a B2B environment.
• 5+ years of experience in a multi-product SaaS environment.
• Proven track record in enterprise sales.
• Skilled at translating technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and navigate dynamic customer conversations.
• Experienced with modern sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
• High degree of autonomy.
• Willingness to mentor colleagues.
• Familiarity with SaaS, security concepts, and technologies such as SCIM, AD, CLI, SSO, and AI.

Salary and Benefits

USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $106,000 USD and $144,000 USD, and is commission-eligible. This role is also immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others).

​

Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $100,000 CAD and $136,000 CAD and is commission-eligible.
