Solutions Architect/ Engineer

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience designing in AWS and Azure cloud  
• Supporting a data migration project before  
• Proficiency in Jenkin, Git, and CI/CD pipeline setup  
• Understanding of Azure security and identity management (Entra ID)  
• Strong SQL exp and able to code in another scripting language (python preferred)  
• Ability to take initiative and follow through on complex projects

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Solutions Architect/ Engineer to join a mature scrum pod but sit fully remote. This person will help two critical projects focused on migration to Databricks and consolidating multiple platforms into a single, streamlined solution. This role requires a proactive, technically strong individual who can take initiative, identify problems, and drive solutions through completion in a dynamic environment.

Architecture & Design:  

Participate in Architecture Review Board discussions.  

Create architecture diagrams and documentation.

Hands-On Engineering:  

Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and related DevOps tools.  

Work extensively with Databricks and DBT for data engineering tasks.  

Configure and optimize Azure environments (primary focus) and AWS (secondary).

Security & Compliance:  

Implement and review security best practices across platforms.  

Understand Azure security, including Entra ID and identity management.  

​

Collaboration & Agile Delivery:  

Work in a small, dynamic team environment.  

Adapt quickly to new challenges and technologies.  

Deliver in an Agile framework.
