Role Overview
Kamiwaza is hiring a Senior (Pre-Sales) Outcome Engineer to secure the technical win on complex enterprise opportunities. Working with the Revenue team, you’ll qualify deals, run discovery, shape solution architectures, and deliver demos/POCs that prove business value while ensuring a clean transition to implementation. This role is ideal for a consultative builder who’s comfortable in the exec boardroom and fluent in white-boarding architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Customers: Work directly with enterprise teams to design and implement GenAI solutions ranging from simple GenAI powered doc processing pipelines up to full GenAI business transformations.
- Lead technical discovery & solutioning: Translate ambiguous customer goals into prioritized use cases, success criteria, and an executable validation plan.
- Architect & present solutions: Design scalable reference architectures (cloud/on-prem/hybrid), data pipelines, and integration paths.
- Enable repeatability: Productize learnings into demo assets, templates, and playbooks; coach AEs/partners on best practices.
- Be the customer’s voice: Feed field insights into roadmap; partner closely with Product & Engineering on gaps and accelerators.
- Support post-sale handoff: Partner with delivery teams to ensure success criteria are met and knowledge is transferred cleanly.
Minimum Requirements
- Technical Expertise: 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles, including 5+ years in Sales Engineering / Solutions Engineering for infrastructure, enterprise software, data platforms, or AI/ML products.
- GenAI fluency: Practical knowledge of LLMs, RAG, embeddings/vector DBs, evaluation/observability, prompt/tooling patterns, and guardrails/safety.
- Enterprise chops: Comfortable with security & compliance topics, network constraints, and multi-cloud/on-prem realities.
- Executive communication: Exceptional storytelling, whiteboarding, and written proposals; confident with C-suite and technical audiences.
- Consultative mindset: Bias to clarify outcomes, de-risk unknowns, and turn customer asks into actionable solution plans.
- Travel: Willing to travel 20–35% for customer meetings, events, and workshops.
Preferred Qualifications
- Track record of leading technical wins for six- and seven-figure deals.
- Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, public sector).
- Startup experience; comfortable with high autonomy and fast iteration.
