Role Overview

We are seeking a Vice President of Sales to join a rapidly growing organization in a highly strategic leadership role. This position offers the opportunity to build, scale, and lead a top-tier global sales organization within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

This role is ideal for a high-velocity leader who thrives in ambiguity, wears multiple hats, and enjoys navigating complex client challenges. The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for shaping and executing the overall sales strategy, aligning resources to the highest-impact opportunities, and driving consistent revenue growth.

You will lead and develop a sales organization of 40+ team members, including regional sales leaders, and operate as a true player-coach—leading from the front while developing high-performing teams. This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and is equal parts leadership and execution.

Responsibilities 

  • Provide hands-on coaching and daily support to drive individual and team performance
  • Deliver and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets aligned with growth goals
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Own forecasting and pipeline management through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews
  • Ensure deep understanding and consistent communication of the company’s value proposition and services
  • Partner directly with the sales team on customer calls, meetings, and presentations
  • Recruit, onboard, and scale a high-performing sales organization within aggressive timelines
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process for new prospective customers with an emphasis on speed and efficiency
  • Manage territory planning, activity, pipeline development, and repeat business
  • Oversee sales transactions and daily operations while continuously refining processes
  • Quickly develop and maintain expertise in international employment and global markets
  • Assess team performance against goals and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan to expand the customer base and strengthen market presence
  • Present sales performance, revenue, expense reports, and forecasts to executive leadership
  • Identify emerging competitors, market shifts, and new growth opportunities
  • Drive improved lead-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-close conversion rates
  • Ensure accountability across all sales systems, processes, and technologies

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of executive-level sales leadership experience
  • 10+ years of experience building and managing sales teams in the technology sector
  • Proven record of consistent sales achievement and revenue growth
  • Strong ability to identify market trends, gaps, and inefficiencies
  • Demonstrated experience scaling teams and recruiting top-tier talent
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Highly disciplined, persistent, and results-driven mindset
  • Hands-on leader who is responsive, accessible, and deeply committed to team success
  • Leadership style rooted in action, accountability, and confident humility
