Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to join our US team with deep expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem and proven success in the Salesforce Eco System. This role requires a strategic sales professional who can drive revenue growth by leveraging their understanding of business challenges and Salesforce solutions to build strong client relationships and expand Cloud Odyssey's market presence across the US.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and execute sales strategies for Salesforce solutions within the US.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and opportunities across US Market
- Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and existing account expansion
- Create and present compelling business cases that demonstrate ROI for Salesforce implementations
- Collaborate closely with Cloud Odyssey's technical delivery teams to ensure seamless client experiences
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with executives and decision-makers
- Conduct strategic consultative sales processes with C-level leaders
- Serve as a trusted advisor on digital transformation and customer experience initiatives
- Lead complex sales cycles from initial engagement through contract closure
Solution Positioning:
- Demonstrate expertise across the Salesforce platform including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and emerging solutions like Agentforce
- Collaborate with technical teams to design tailored solutions for clients
- Articulate the business value of Salesforce investments.
Market Development:
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities within the United States.
- Represent Cloud Odyssey at industry events, conferences, and networking functions across the United States.
- Develop strategic partnerships with other technology providers and system integrators
Required Qualifications:
Experience & Background:
- 8+ years of B2B sales experience with a focus on enterprise software solutions
- 3+ years of proven success selling Salesforce solutions or working within the Salesforce ecosystem
- 5+ years of experience working with US clients, preferably in technology sales.
- Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in six-figure deal environments
- Must be based in United States with eligibility to work in the US
Industry Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of US business models, operations, and customer experience challenges
- Familiarity with US Salesforce technology stack including POS systems, e-commerce platforms, inventory management, and customer data platforms
- Knowledge of omnichannel strategies and digital transformation initiatives
- Understanding of US regulations, GDPR compliance, and data privacy requirements
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and architecture
- Ability to conduct solution demonstrations and articulate technical concepts to business stakeholders
- Experience with CRM, marketing automation, and customer experience technologies
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to engage C-level executives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, or others)
- Previous experience in operations, merchandising, or customer experience roles
- Experience working with Salesforce Summit Partners or similar high-tier consulting organizations
- Experience with partner channel sales and ecosystem development
