About
The company is a buy-side M&A advisory firm that helps corporate executives and business owners acquire companies in the $1M–$30M range. We specialize in creative deal structuring, generate massive deal flow through proprietary systems, and currently serve 400+ active buyers. We're scaling fast and looking for a sales leader who wants to build something.
The Role
This is a producing VP of Sales position. For the first six months, you'll carry a personal quota while building and managing the sales team. After that, you'll transition to full-time leadership as the team scales.
You'll own everything related to bringing on new buyers: hiring closers, running training, conducting 1:1s, managing pipeline, and ensuring the team hits revenue targets. You're not here to maintain—you're here to build.

● Own all sales hiring, onboarding, and training
● Conduct weekly team meetings, 1:1s, and pipeline reviews
● Build and refine sales playbooks, scripts, and resources
● Create reporting and forecasting systems to track performance
● Manage CRM hygiene and ensure process compliance across the team
● Collaborate with leadership on pricing, positioning, and strategy
Requirements
● Proven track record selling and scaling remote sales teams
● Experience in high-ticket closing ($10K+ deal sizes)
● Highly data-driven with ability to build forecasts and performance reports
● Comfortable building sales infrastructure from scratch (playbooks, CRM workflows, training materials)
● Strong coaching ability—you can develop reps, not just manage them
● Thrives in fast-paced, startup environments with ambiguity
Nice to Have
● Background in financial services, M&A, or advisory
● Experience selling to business owners, executives, or HNW individuals
Compensation
● Phase 1 (Producing): $90K base + personal commission + team performance override
● Phase 2 (Management): $120K base + team performance override
● Deal success bonuses tied to client outcomes
