We’re an ambitious, fast-growing energy drink startup redefining the category with a focus on clean energy, authentic brand storytelling, and strong retail execution. Backed by passionate founders and a loyal consumer base, we’re poised for breakout growth across key retail channels.  

The Opportunity  

We’re looking for a driven, entrepreneurial West Coast Chain Director to lead our regional retail growth strategy. This role is perfect for a sales leader who thrives in a scrappy, high-growth environment and wants to make a visible impact on a fast-rising brand.

You’ll own sales strategy and execution across key accounts in the Pacific Northwest and West Coast, driving distribution, promotional excellence, and revenue growth in your region.  

Key Responsibilities  

  • Lead Regional Sales: Manage and grow business across major grocery, convenience, and natural channel retailers on the West Coast.  
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain partnerships with key buyers, category managers, and distributors.  
  • Drive Execution: Oversee new item authorizations, promotional planning, and in-store activation to ensure brand visibility and velocity.  
  • Strategic Growth: Identify white-space opportunities and develop account-specific plans to expand the brand footprint.  
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing and operations to align field execution with brand goals.  
  • Data-Driven Selling: Leverage syndicated data, market trends, and retailer insights to inform sales strategies and presentations.  
  • Mentorship & Representation: Serve as the brand’s on-the-ground ambassador, shaping local presence and building the foundation for future regional sales growth.  

Qualifications  

  • 7+ years of sales experience in beverage or CPG, preferably in emerging or challenger brands.  
  • Strong relationships with West Coast retailers (e.g., Safeway, Albertsons, Sprouts, Costco, etc.).  
  • Proven track record of driving distribution and sales growth in a regional role.  
  • Comfortable in a startup environment — hands-on, resourceful, and proactive.  
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.  
  • Passion for health, wellness, and the energy beverage category.
