Workday Implementation Manager
Role: Workday Implementation Manager -PEAKON
Location: Houston, Texas
Office: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Hours: 8-5, with flexibility
Contract: 3-4 months
Payrate: $90-110/hr

The Workday Peakon Implementation Manager is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end deployment, configuration, and optimization of the Workday Peakon Employee Voice module. This role ensures successful adoption across the organization by partnering with HR, IT, business leaders, and vendors to deliver a seamless implementation experience. The manager will oversee project planning, system configuration, stakeholder alignment, change management, testing, and go‑live activities.
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Serve as the primary implementation lead for the Workday Peakon module, overseeing all phases from discovery to post‑go‑live support.
- Drive implementation activities including requirements gathering, timeline development, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment of Peakon with HR strategy, organizational structure, and reporting needs.
- Manage relationships with Workday, third‑party vendors, and internal partners.
- Lead UAT cycles, validate data accuracy, and ensure platform functionality meets business requirements.
Configuration & Technical Enablement
- Configure Peakon surveys, lifecycle moments, dashboards, and reporting structures.
- Partner with HRIS and IT to integrate Peakon with Workday HCM, data feeds, and security models.
- Support data migration from legacy systems where applicable, referencing common needs from broader HR systems landscapes such as survey data extraction and system integration seen in internal EX projects.
Change Management & Training
- Develop and deliver training for managers and employees, leveraging best‑practice guides similar to the internal Peakon Manager Playbook resources.
- Build communication plans that drive adoption, engagement, and understanding of the platform’s value.
- Ensure managers know how to interpret engagement metrics, act on feedback, and utilize real‑time insights.
Continuous Improvement & Insights
- Partner with HR and leadership to define KPIs and engagement goals, ensuring Peakon insights drive meaningful actions.
- Monitor survey health, participation, and driver trends to recommend improvements.
- Stay current on Workday Employee Voice (Peakon) roadmap, new capabilities, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of Workday implementation or HRIS experience; strong preference for experience with Workday Peakon Employee Voice.
- Demonstrated success managing HR technology projects end‑to‑end, including requirements, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret engagement data and partner with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Experience supporting HR, employee engagement, or EX platforms
