​Dress for Success® economically empowers women across the globe! Dress for Success® Worldwide is the leading global nonprofit employment resource for unemployed and underemployed women. They have been at the forefront of women’s economic development for 27 years. Through their no-fee career development, job skills preparedness, mentoring and coaching, financial education, and professional attire services the women they serve are provided with the tools and skills to achieve economic self-independence.

​Since starting operations in 1997, Dress for Success has expanded to 134 affiliates in 20 countries and has helped more than 1.3 million women work towards self-sufficiency.

​Find your local affiliate here and discover how you can donate clothes, support the organization financially, get involved as a volunteer or help in other ways.  If they are not operating in your community yet, learn how to start a Dress for Success in your area!

​About Our Speaker:

​Michelle Proctor is the Director of Operations for the Risk, Fraud and Compliance Solutions division of SAS. In this capacity she is responsible for the daily operations of 700 global resources across R&D, Risk & Finance Advisory Services, Portfolio Strategy and Operations. Michelle serves on the Diversity Council for SAS as the sponsor of the SAS Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) and is one of two leaders heading up the externally facing Women in Analytics (WIA) program. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Prior to SAS, Michelle worked at IBM and NASA. She is extremely passionate about STEM and volunteers her spare time to educational outreach through several non-profits. She is currently serving in her 9th year on the board of Dress for Success.
