Position Overview
As a Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving new business development, managing the full sales lifecycle, and building strategic relationships with higher education institutions. This role is ideal for a dynamic, results-oriented sales leader who has experience selling SaaS or IT services in the higher education sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within higher education institutions.
- Conduct consultative sales presentations to CIOs, VPs, and decision-makers across IT and Student Services.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate with marketing and solutions engineering teams to deliver tailored demos and proposals.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline and accurately forecast deals and revenue.
- Represent BlackBeltHelp at industry events, webinars, and conferences.
- Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape.
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B SaaS or technology services sales; higher education or EdTech experience is required.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
