Director, Strategic Sales , East
About the Opportunity:
The organization provides reliable data and AI solutions to support leading companies in delivering trustworthy data at scale. The purpose of this role is to lead and grow the strategic sales team, focusing on expanding the organization’s presence within Global 2000 companies and managing relationships with large data-driven enterprises.
Responsibilities:
- Hire and develop a team of Strategic Account Executives
- Create situational playbooks and sales strategies to secure new clients and drive additional usage within the existing customer base
- Partner with the Customer Success team to increase usage and maintain positive customer sentiment
- Collaborate with sales leadership to define and refine a repeatable sales process
- Address challenges facing the team to facilitate success
- Report on team and individual performance through pipeline management and forecasting; recommend process improvements
- Meet or exceed targets for new business acquisition and usage growth
- Foster a high-performing and engaged culture within the Strategic Sales team
Requirements:
- 5+ years of recent experience leading enterprise or strategic sales representatives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, ideally within data-driven industries
- 10+ years of full-cycle, B2B sales experience in complex software sales, with a track record of winning enterprise and strategic accounts
- Proven ability in forecasting, territory account mapping, research and planning, and conducting discovery meetings for key accounts
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and engage diverse audiences
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
