We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Solutions Lead Specialist Engineer to oversee the design, development, integration, and optimization of enterprise-scale e-commerce platforms. This role involves leading technical architecture, implementing scalable commerce solutions, improving system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and revenue growth. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in e-commerce frameworks, ERP integration, and cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

​

• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of enterprise e-commerce solutions and platform architectures.  
• Develop scalable and secure e-commerce applications, APIs, and backend services.  
• Manage integration of e-commerce platforms with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, logistics partners, and third-party systems.  
• Drive performance optimization, reliability, and availability of e-commerce systems.  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.  
• Mentor and guide engineering teams with best practices and code reviews.  
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless and user-focused digital experience.  
• Implement analytics, personalization, and A/B testing tools to support conversion and digital optimization.  
• Oversee release management, version control, and continuous integration processes.  
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical leadership for incident resolution.  
• Ensure security standards, compliance, and data protection across platforms.  
• Prepare technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and project reports.

Required Qualifications

​

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 6 years focused on e-commerce solutions.  
• Strong hands-on experience with major e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce (Hybris), or Adobe Commerce.  
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, or PHP.  
• Experience building and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.  
• Strong understanding of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.  
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.  
• Proven experience integrating with ERP, CRM, and payment systems such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Stripe, PayPal, and others.  
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.  
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.  
• Strong understanding of web security standards and regulatory requirements such as PCI-DSS.  
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment with strong problem-solving capabilities.
