About the role

Founding, many-hats seat. You’ll own pipeline → deals → key accounts and jump in on the factory floor during peaks to keep promises. Think player-coach: prospect in the morning, close in the afternoon, help move a hot job over the finish line at 4pm.

What you’ll do

  • Build and run the full funnel (targeted outbound, inbound triage, fast quoting, clean handoffs).
  • Win strategic accounts in med-tech, robotics/automation, premium hardware; expand within 90 days of first PO.
  • Stand up partner channels (overflow shops, design firms, integrators) and co-sell with them.
  • Set pricing discipline (expedites, minimums, deposits) that protects delivery promises.
  • Pitch-to-pack assist (early phase): when needed, help with simple on-site steps—traveler kickoff, photo/evidence capture, inspection basics (calipers/pins), pack/ship handoff, and customer update. Safety training provided.
  • Own forecast, CRM hygiene, and a crisp weekly revenue stand-up; publish a short status so everyone’s aligned.

You have

  • 6–12+ years in B2B manufacturing/AM/CNC or industrial tech sales; new-logo wins + expansions.
  • Clean sales ops habits (CRM, pipeline math, forecasting), crisp writing, friendly phone skills.
  • Comfortable on a shop floor (PPE, ESD basics); you don’t mind rolling up sleeves for a rush order.

Success looks like

  • 30/60/90: ICP list live → 30+ first meetings → 6+ qualified opps → first wins booked; first partner producing leads.
  • By Month 6: ≥25% win rate on qualified deals; median quote-to-commit ≤7 days; 2–3 referenceable customers.
  • By Month 9: expanding top accounts and 2–3 partner channels driving repeat revenue.

Compensation

 Base salary: $110,000–$130,000 (DOE).

 Annual bonus: target 20–30% on bookings quality, win rate, and expansion.

 Equity: stock options eligible (standard 4-year vest, 1-year cliff).
