Job Description

The Implementation Consultant is a dynamic position that performs a critical role in delivering high-quality implementation services for our customers. This is a high-visibility, customer-facing individual contributor who will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure implementation projects are executed smoothly, on time, and within the scope of work. The Implementation Consultant will serve as a key liaison between internal departments and the customer, driving coordination, project planning, and exemplary communication to guarantee Elixir’s implementations meet customer expectations and align with our standards for quality and efficiency.

The Implementation Consultant also contributes to post-project retrospectives and collaborates with internal leadership to continuously improve and optimize processes. They develop and maintain positive relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders while fostering a positive company outlook.

Working with our talented, progressive, and collaborative Implementation team, the Implementation Consultant takes responsibility for understanding, analyzing and translation of Elixir customers’ business requirements. They have an opportunity to work alongside and collaborate with a exceptional team of implementation professionals on projects of various complexity across Elixir’s customer base.

Essential Functions

Under the general supervision of Managing Director, Implementation, the essential functions include:

  • Establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and expectations.
  • Contribute to documentation for customers which includes project plans, milestone reports, and process flows to ensure clarity of work being delivered.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders' leadership to highlight risk and mitigation plans.
  • Configure the Elixir Cloud product in line with customer requirements scoped in the Statement of Work (SOW) using Elixir products which includes, but is not limited to, product configuration, validation, and QA testing.
  • Provide guidance to customers regarding product configurations such as data mapping, templates, workflows, delivery channels, etc.
  • Support continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, identifying areas for improvement toward KPI adherence, and contributes to the development of best practices for implementations.
  • Complete knowledge transfer around workflows, templates, and outputs to Technical Support and Customer Success teams.
  • Interact with customers and respond to inquiries related to the deliverables, providing necessary assistance to ensure successful completion of the assigned tasks.
  • Track and submit progress reports in accordance with organizational guidelines, while working closely with Project Managers to highlight any risk and mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with SIs on approved simple projects to provide implementation guidance during project execution to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration, ensuring successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience with customer-facing enterprise software or SaaS implementations
  • Experience with data migration and integration
  • Basic understanding and concepts of programming fundamentals
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

Preferred education and experience

  • 4+ years of SaaS implementation experience at a cloud-based software organization
  • Understanding of APIs and web services for integrating different systems
  • Experience with middleware and integration platforms
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-based solutions
  • Understanding of cloud architecture and services
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in multiple global time zones
