Senior Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales)
Location: Remote in San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities
- Acting as a trusted advisor to prospective customers, design partners, and strategic accounts
- Leading technical discovery and architecture design sessions with prospects and customers
- Partnering with AEs from end-to-end, building relationships with key stakeholders
- Building and delivering custom demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs)
- Informing roadmap priorities with real-time feedback from customers and prospects
- Championing superior CX through documentation, SDK ergonomics, and integration workflows
- Visiting prospects and customers in-person as needed to close deals and build relationships
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales solutions engineering or a similar customer-facing role
- Experience with enterprise vector database or distributed database products
- Experience collaborating with AEs to scope, solution, and articulate the value of the product
- Understanding of machine learning and AI frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow
- Highly technical background with the ability to read and/or write code (Python and/or Rust)
- Cloud services experience with AWS and/or Azure, GCP
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
Compensation
- $180K - $250K + Quarterly Variable Bonus/Commission + Equity
