Job Description

Our analytics team drives data-informed decisions across manufacturing, leasing, supply chain, and logistics operations. We’re seeking a Lead Foundry Solutions Engineer to act as a technical lead bridging deep Palantir Foundry expertise with business acumen to deliver transformative solutions. In this senior role, you will autonomously architect end-to-end data solutions, collaborate with team members, and develop innovations that drive measurable results—such as optimizing supply chain efficiencies or improving cost estimation within industrial contexts.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Solution Delivery

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data pipelines, applications, and workflows in Palantir Foundry.
  • Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and external data sources (Snowflake, Oracle, REST APIs).
  • Ensure solutions are reliable, secure, and compliant with industry standards (GDPR, SOX).
  • Demonstrate deep Foundry expertise and the ability to deliver results in complex, high-stakes environments.

Full Application and Workflow Development

  • Build end-to-end applications and automated workflows using Foundry modules such as Workshop, Slate, Quiver, Contour, and Pipeline Builder.
  • Develop intuitive, interactive user experiences that connect front-end interfaces to robust back-end logic.
  • Deliver scalable tools such as real-time supply chain monitors or AI-driven decision workflows.

Data Modeling and Transformation for Advanced Analytics

  • Architect data models and ontologies in Foundry to standardize and integrate datasets from manufacturing and logistics systems.
  • Develop reusable transformation logic using PySpark, SQL, and Foundry tools (Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories).
  • Enable predictive modeling, AI-driven insights, and operational optimizations through clean, enriched data pipelines.
  • Maintain semantic integrity across domains to support advanced analytics and proactive problem-solving.

Dashboard Development and Visualization

  • Build interactive dashboards and applications using Foundry tools (Workshop, Slate, Quiver, Contour).
  • Provide real-time KPIs, trends, and insights that enhance data-driven decision-making and operational visibility.

AI Integration and Impact

  • Design and implement AIP pipelines and AI/ML integrations that enable predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and automation.
  • Apply frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or LLMs to drive transformative business outcomes in manufacturing, leasing, and logistics.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Serve as a lead Forward Deployed Engineer, providing guidance through code reviews, workshops, and troubleshooting.
  • Foster a culture of efficiency, technical excellence, and knowledge-sharing across the team.

Business Domain Strategy and Innovation

  • Develop deep understanding of our domains—leasing, manufacturing, and logistics—to anticipate stakeholder needs.
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions that improve productivity and long-term business performance.
  • Integrate with complementary tools such as Databricks for extended analytics workflows.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, validate solutions, and ensure reliability in mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Financial Engineering, Econometrics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, including 4+ years specializing in Palantir Foundry (Ontology, Pipelines, AIP, Workshop, Slate).
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and building scalable ETL workflows.
  • Experience integrating with interoperable cloud IDEs such as Databricks.
  • Proven ability to independently deliver end-to-end solutions with measurable impact.
  • Strong business acumen in industrial domains (manufacturing, leasing, supply chain, logistics).
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in technical environments and handle ambiguity effectively.

Preferred

  • Palantir Foundry certifications (Foundry Data Engineer, Application Developer).
  • Experience with AI/ML integrations (TensorFlow, PyTorch, LLMs) within Foundry AIP.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with visualization platforms (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI) to complement Foundry dashboards.

Summary

This role is ideal for a hands-on data engineering leader who thrives in building complex, end-to-end Foundry solutions that transform industrial operations. You’ll serve as both architect and innovator—connecting technical depth with business impact to drive our data-driven future.
