Solution engineer
Position: America/Germany
What You Will Do In This Role:
- Provide expertise to Sales and customers regarding Mushiny’s Flexible Automation product offerings and capabilities.
- Responsible for understanding and interpreting customer requirements to work in partnership with customers towards derived solutions and leveraging existing solutions.
- Prepare and review cost estimates.
- Review and approve technical details in customer communication including proposals.
- Travel to potential customer sites to research, collect and report information about the application.
- Attend meetings with customers, either in a support role or making presentations.
- Collaborate with Engineering to determine feasibility and develop new system solutions.
- Work with Sales personnel to determine customer requirements and concept solutions.
- Help identify product development priorities and communicate these throughout the organization.
What We Are Looking For
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Advanced Spanish, Advanced English. Portuguese and/or Chinese Mandarin is a plus.
- 2-5 years engineering experience
- 3-5 years Logistics applications experience
- Understanding of how to optimize warehouse operations.
- Understanding of warehouse management software systems.
- Computer skills: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Self-starter who will take initiative to identify issues and pursue resolutions.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with material handling equipment systems in a warehouse
- Reliably forecast and report out on proposal status
- Experience in Material Handling Automation equipment, preferably Sorters and conveyors.
- Architectural knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and software products.
- Strong automation integration and design experience.
