IT Solutions Analyst-Data Integration Engineer

100% remote

Candidate Must-Haves

  •  Strong scripting background (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  •  Proven experience with Azure services, particularly Azure Data Factory.
  •  Experience with integration platforms (e.g., Boomi, Logic Apps) and API integration.

Position Summary

The Solutions Analyst plays a critical role in configuring, integrating, delivering, and maintaining software systems across the organization. This highly technical, hands-on position requires strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of software development and infrastructure principles, and the ability to work fluidly with both business-facing and IT teams.

Unlike a Business Analyst or Technology Analyst—with expertise concentrated in a single functional or technical area—the Solutions Analyst is a technology-agnostic problem solver with broad knowledge of computer information systems, application integration, data movement, and foundational technologies such as Windows, Linux, relational databases, APIs, and automation frameworks.

The primary focus of this role is data ingestion into the enterprise data repository using Azure Data Factory (ADF) or low-code/no-code tools, as well as streamlining application integrations and workflow automations. The Solutions Analyst will also support application portfolio management and help drive technology improvement initiatives across the organization.

This role is ideal for someone who excels at bridging the gap between business needs and IT implementation—delivering solutions that are scalable, well-architected, and maintainable.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead analysis, optimization, and enhancement of existing solutions; support new solution development as assigned.
  • Support and fulfill requests within the technology support queue.
  • Assist in identifying, isolating, and resolving root causes of technical issues.
  • Lead documentation efforts for existing solutions and contribute to documentation for new initiatives.
  • Participate in change management activities and solution deployment processes.
  • Execute project tasks and deliverables as assigned.
  • Provide application support and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Lead small-scale projects and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions.
  • Assist in developing upgrade strategies and roadmap plans for assigned solutions.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

  • Strong hands-on experience with ETL technologies (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS) to manage pipelines, automate data flows, and load data into repositories such as Fabric Lakehouse.
  • Strong knowledge of low-code/no-code integration platforms such as Workato, Logic Apps, Boomi, or Informatica.
  • Strong understanding of APIs and tools for API-driven integrations.
  • Strong experience with GitHub or GitHub Enterprise.
  • Proficiency with Power BI and reporting concepts.
  • Solid understanding of application development and software engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience with one or more programming languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Python) and scripting languages such as bash or PowerShell.
  • Strong SQL skills, including Microsoft SQL Server, Progress RDBMS, and T-SQL.
  • Ability to configure and maintain SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams at an advanced level.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Svelte).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and related APIs.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in application integration, data management, or solution engineering.
  • Strong data management and reporting skills.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project planning, meeting facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Solid understanding of supported business systems and technologies.
