Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer

Location: Total East (Maine to Florida)

Salary: Basic salary range $120,000 - $135,000 with an OTE between $160,000 to $180,000 + additional benefits

The Role:

  • Act as the primary technical partner to customers across the US public sector—translating requirements into impactful solution architectures.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, design workshops, and solution validation conversations with a strong customer-first mindset.
  • Work closely with sales teams to shape proposals and present Dell-centric solutions across storage, compute, data protection, HCI, and cloud.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations, explain complex architectures simply, and guide customers through best-practice design decisions.
  • Build long-term technical relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with internal architects, delivery teams, and vendor partners to ensure seamless execution and the highest possible customer experience.
  • Remote-first environment with autonomy, leadership visibility, continuous learning opportunities, and a path into senior engineering or solution architecture roles.

About You:

  • Strong background as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Pre-Sales Architect in the infrastructure/storage ecosystem.
  • Deep Dell accreditations and hands-on technical familiarity with solutions such as Isilon/PowerScale, PowerFlex, PowerStore, PowerProtect, or PowerFlow.
  • Bonus points if you hold experience in AWS and Google Cloud solutions but no essential
  • A people-oriented approach—comfortable presenting, storytelling, and building rapport with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting public-sector clients (ideally Healthcare).
  • Ability to balance business context with technical depth, and thrive in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment.
  • Comfortable partnering directly with account teams and supporting the full sales cycle.
